Job description

Commissioning Engineer for Waste handling and Water Processing Systems – Focused on Test Report writing and documentation.

Within OL3 project, inside Commissioning Department under the Branch Managers responsibility, the main duties of the Commissioning Engineer with focus on Test Report Preparation and Documentation are the following:

  • Familiarizations with the Commissioning documentation as the tests are planned in the Overall time schedule. (=Commissioning Instructions mainly)
  • Discussion and pre-assessment with the Responsible Commissioning Engineer on the Process system in order to understand how the test is planned and under which conditions
  • After execution of the test reviewing the Test results with the commissioning engineer in order to be able to independently write and elaborate the official test report.

Interfaces:

  • with Commissioning Engineer (Person to plan and execute the test on site)
  • with Technical Commissioning (Department defining the rules and standards + Format how the reports are to be written
  • Quality Department (Ensuring the overall stable quality of the documentation in the OL3 Project)
  • TVO (Customer of the Nuclear Power Plant, interface only occasionally)
  • Progress follow up and Reporting to Section Lead (or Branch Manager) with respect to Project Schedule

Requirements


  • Engineer Degree, alternatively business degree with technical background/experience
  • Document writing capacity à Strong verbal and written skills in English language (technical English would be a plus)
  • Structured and rigorous in terms of schedule commitment
  • PWR technology & EPR technology knowledge would be a plus,
  • Capability to understand Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
  • Experience in Logic Diagrams for signal Processing would be a plus
  • Very good MS office knowledge
  • Versatile, Adaptable, Good interpersonal skills, results oriented, attention to details
